Travelers, please bear in mind that you will need a valid passport to cross the international border, whether you travel by air or by land. Those who hold dual citizenship that includes Canada must travel with a valid Canadian passport, in keeping with new travel regulations implemented in November 2016. Those who are dual US / Canadian citizens are exempt from this regulation.

While most flights pass through Pearson International Airport (located approximately 40 minutes outside downtown Toronto), regional flights via Porter Airlines (including Boston / Logan, New York City / Newark, Washington, D.C. / BWI, and Chicago / Midway) come into Billy Bishop Island Airport, just south of downtown Toronto. Information on travel from both airports to the hotels and university campus appears below.

1) From Pearson International Airport

up-expressUnion Pearson Express: The Union Pearson Express runs every fifteen minutes from Terminal 1 and takes approximately 30 minutes to reach Union Station in downtown Toronto. The UP Terminal is directly adjacent to the Link Train service linking Terminals 1 and 3. The one way fare to Union Station is $12.00 CAD ($24.00 return).

Taxis: Taxis to hotels in downtown Toronto cost between $65 and $75 CAD and take approximately 40 minutes to reach downtown.

Airport Limos: Limousines to hotels in downtown Toronto cost between $60 and $70 CAD and take approximately 40 minutes to reach downtown. ttc-logoPublic Transit (TTC): The “Airport Rocket” (Bus #192) provides all-day, regular accessible express bus service between Pearson International Airport and Kipling Subway Station on the Bloor-Danforth Subway Line (Line 2). The Adult TTC Fare is $3.25 CAD (one way).

Take Bus #192 from Terminal 1: Ground Level – Second Curb, Column R4 or Terminal 3: Arrivals Level – Third Curb, Column C12) to Kipling Subway Station. Travel eastbound to St. George Station for The Intercontinental, Holiday Inn Bloor-Yorkville, or the Park Hyatt. For the Toronto Marriott Bloor Yorkville, travel two stops further to Bloor-Yonge Station.

If you are staying at the Holiday Inn Downtown or the Courtyard Marriott Downtown Toronto, you will need to travel eastbound to Bloor-Yonge Station and transfer to Line 1 (southbound) to College Station.

The journey takes approximately 50 minutes.

2) From Billy Bishop Airport

Taxis: There is a taxi rank immediately upon exiting the airport. Standard city rates will apply.

Airport Shuttle: A complimentary Express Shuttle Bus runs between Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport and Union Station , downtown Toronto (see map). The shuttle runs approximately every 15 minutes and is open to anyone going to the airport, whether or not they are traveling.
